About

Benjamin B. Kington

Ben Kington has practiced criminal defense, and only criminal defense, since 2009. He represents clients in the San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial County Superior Courts, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and in the California Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court.

His cases have ranged from misdemeanor DUIs to murder. Before opening his own office, he spent more than a decade at Boyce & Schaefer, a San Diego criminal defense and appellate firm ranked as a Tier One Best Law Firm by U.S. News & World Report, where he handled serious felony trials and appeals alongside some of the most respected defense lawyers in the county.

Ben grew up in Ohio and came to San Diego in 2009 after finishing law school. He serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association.
